Indigo Boriya Linen Sari

Ber/ Bor is a small little red berry that grows on wild shrubs in harsh and arid atmosphere. It has been a part of rajasthani culture in many ways jewellery, cuisine and textiles. Here boriya is shown in its full glory the plant the fruit and the seed forming a complex pattern for dabu block print, developed by block printing and dyeing the fabric multiple times.
